The Field Operations Bureau encompasses the most visible parts of the agency, as it is home to the deputies who are most likely to come into contact with the public. These include the deputies of the Uniform Patrol Division and the investigators assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division (C.I.D.).  The Field Operations Bureau is responsible for the entire process of reporting and investigation, from responding to the initial call for service to the arrest of perpetrators and everything in between.
