Deputy Sheriff
As a Banks County Deputy Sheriff, you will provide protection of life and property, enforcement of state, local, and federal laws, respond to emergency situations, and investigate criminal activity.
Salary: Starting at $27.88 hourly, $58,000* annually.
*Opportunity to earn up to an additional $4,683.84 annually by working paid holidays.
Candidates must…
• Possess a High School diploma or GED; supplemented by completion of basic police officer training program.
• Possess and maintain valid Georgia P.O.S.T. Peace Officer certification.
• Possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.

Hiring preference will be given to Banks County residents.
