We are excited to announce that the Banks County Sheriff's Office has been accredited through the Office of Sheriff Accreditation Program (OSAP), making us one of the first five counties in the State of Georgia to achieve this recognition through the Georgia Sheriffs' Association.

OSAP is an accreditation program that aims to acknowledge the highest standards of professionalism in the areas specific to the Office of the Sheriff. The accreditation program is a voluntary process and will assess best practice standards to meet the specific duties according to the Constitution, Georgia Statutes, and Case Law.
